2026 Pasadena Showcase House

The Pasadena Showcase House of Design is an annual charity event bringing together the best in interior design and furnishings in exquisite Pasadena estates. It is recognized as one of the oldest, largest and most successful house and garden tours in the United States. For a few weeks every year, the public can tour the property and view exciting interior design work in all different styles, talk to designers, and get ideas for their own projects. This projects marks the 5th year Billman Designs has been participating, and this year, we were honored to be chosen to design the large kitchen and adjacent breakfast nook. This year’s tours have wrapped up, and we want to thank everyone we met and worked with for a wonderful experience in 2026!

The Kitchen and Breakfast Nook

We were thrilled to participate again this year – and especially excited to design the Kitchen and Breakfast Nook – we LOVE kitchens! This year was full of gutting walls, building custom everything, and wrangling large slabs of marble, in our quest to design a bright, spacious, and luxurious space to relax, cook family feasts, and connect with loved ones.

As always, Karen’s love of color and texture shines in every surface and detail, from the natural marble countertops to the richly stained wood, hammered brass accents, and luxe deep green cabinets. Wallpaper by Danica Andler and stunning fabrics by Kravat Fabrics and Missoni home for window treatments and upholstery create a bold, sophisticated play of color that surprises and delights.
